Chest physiotherapy is suitable for patients with most lung issue (Eg. Recent or recurrent lung infection, patients who are dependent on a ventilator, or Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease). We aim to assist the body to remove phlegm from the airway and improve the efficiency of oxygen uptake by using manual techniques including chest percussion or vibration (hands-on technique to aid loosen the phlegm in the lungs), as well as specific breathing exercise regimes.

Cardiac Rehabilitation is suitable for patients who suffers from recent myocardial infarction aka. heart attack or coronary angioplasty. Our physiotherapist monitor your vital signs closely while exercising, aiming to improve your cardiovascular health. Lifestyle changes, such as eating a balanced diet and quitting smoking is also important in reducing the risk of future heart problems.

How does Clinical Pilates exercises work?

With pilates you train the core muscles around your spine. The focus of pilates is soley on you and we will make sure that you are maintaining the best technique possible. With that you can recover from your condition as soon as possible. Pilates exercises are aimed at the appropriate level for you and your pain and are progressed when possible and tolerated.
